Visits Royal Cavalry of Oman, in Muscat. Sees and sketches the Sultan of Oman’s
Arabian horses, used for racing and official carriages.
Visits Chantilly Stables in Paris, studying Lusitanian, Iberian, Friesian and other baroque, classically
trained breeds.
Sketches Lipezzaners at Spanish Riding School, and Summer Stables, Vienna, Austria.
Travels to research racing paintings at Royal Ascot, Paris,
and The Curragh, County Kildare, Ireland.
